Message from the Minister
A close friend of mine recently said to me, “God must love a good story.”
He wasn’t reflecting on literature, but on the nature of life and all its challenges, the struggles each person faces, and the sense that there must be some greater meaning to this life we all live...
We're a group of people who are captivated by the life of Jesus. When we know His story, our own story starts to make more sense. He came to the world with a radical message of forgiveness and love. He often did the unexpected, was always profound, had a fiery sense of justice and a beautiful heart of compassion and mercy. Ultimately he demonstrated the love of God by laying down his own life for the world...
The Christian knows the end of the story, and it's an extraordinary end! It started when Jesus rose from the dead and despite our own trials, failures, sickness, even death, our hope and belief is that through Jesus we belong to God forever. He gives us hope and helps us develop the character and courage we need for a life well lived. He has a mission to transform the world, and a vision for all of life which he calls "the kingdom of God".
No one has ever seen God, but we have met Jesus, and it's in Jesus that we get our sense of who God is and what God's like. And we'd love for you to join with us and explore who Jesus is for yourself.
